Picnic at Cascade Gardens in Autumn
Hobart is so pretty in Autumn. There are beautiful trees in different colours ranging from deep red through to yellow and every shade in between. At this time of year one of the most scenic places to visit is Cascade Gardens, at the base of the Western side of Farm Hill (Yes, again it’s only about a 10 minute walk). Not only can you visit the historic Cascade Brewery and tour the facility, but there is also a function centre and shop, all set in the most beautiful garden. Encompassing both sides of Macquarie Street, the park is perfect for a family picnic or just to take the kids to play for a while.
